Your Journey to a New Smile
We want you to feel comfortable every step of the way. Here is how we get started together:
- Your First Visit
Come in for a free consultation. Dr. Pendleton will look at your smile and listen to what you hope to achieve. We’ll talk through your treatment options and find a treatment path that fits your goals. - Designing Your Plan
We use an iTero™ scanner to show you a preview of your finished smile before you even start. Dr. Pendleton precisely designs each tray to ensure your treatment is efficient. - Wearing Your Aligners
You’ll wear your Invisalign aligners approximately every week as directed.. Every six to eight weeks, you’ll visit our office so we can check on your progress. These visits are usually very quick, since there are no wires to tighten.

How long do I have to wear my aligners each day?
For the best results, you should wear your aligners for at least 22 hours a day. You only take them out to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush your teeth.
Is the treatment painful?
You might feel a little "hug" or pressure on your teeth for the first day or two of a new set of aligners. This is a good sign. It means they are working! Most patients find them very comfortable.
How do I keep my aligners clean?
It’s easy. You can use a specialized cleaning kit or simply a soft toothbrush and clear hand soap to keep them looking fresh.
What happens after treatment?
Healthy smiles are created through our thoughtful treatment approach, but they stay that way with retainers. Once you finish your Invisalign aligners, Dr. Pendleton will provide a retainer to make sure your beautiful results last a lifetime.
